Activate the distributor account and add operators

The AuthGuard platform creates the distributor account awaiting activation and issues an activation code for the first operator. Activation works exactly like a customer organization's.

How do I activate?

1. Open the activation link you received, at https://<distributor-slug>.authguard.pt/#activate=…. Without a link, type the «Activation code» (it starts with agact_).
2. Enter your email, set the administrator password (15 to 1024 characters) and the passkey name.
3. Choose «Activate and create passkey» and confirm on the device.
4. The page shows «The organization is active. You are signed in with your passkey.»

The code lasts 72 hours and works once; a new code replaces the previous one. A distributor account needs no licence to be activated.

How do I add operators?

The distributor's operators are people of the distributor account:

1. In the portal, open «Manage» › «Users» › «Create user».
2. Give the «Administrator» role to whoever will run the portal.
3. Each operator signs in and creates their passkey.

Platform operators never manage the distributor's operators. Keep at least two operators with a passkey.

• Every change asks for a recent passkey confirmation.
• Operators' sign-ins and changes are in the distributor's «Audit».
