Signed-in browsers and signing out

  • 1 min read

«Protect» › «Signed-in browsers» lists the browsers where you have an active single sign-on session and lets you end them. Use it if you left a session open on a shared or lost computer.

How do I sign out one browser?

  1. Open «Protect» › «Signed-in browsers».
  2. Each row shows when you signed in and until when the session is valid. The current browser appears as «This browser».
  3. Choose «Sign out this browser» on the row you want to end.

How do I sign out everywhere?

Choose «Sign out everywhere». Every single sign-on session ends, except the one you are using.

How do I sign out of this browser only?

  • In the console, choose «Sign out».
  • On an application's sign-in page, choose «Not you? Sign out».

The console confirms «You signed out of single sign-on in this browser.»

What is not ended?

Signing out of the authentication service does not end the sessions each application already opened on its own (for example Microsoft 365). Sign out of each application too.

I lost my laptop with the session open

  1. On another computer, sign in and choose «Sign out everywhere».
  2. Remove that laptop's passkey under «Trusted devices».
  3. Tell support, who can revoke all your sessions.

Does changing my password also end sessions?

Yes. «Change password» ends all your sessions, including the current one.
