Customer licences come from your pool. You allocate seats to an organization, amend them as the customer grows, renew the end date and revoke when the contract ends.

Allocate seats to an organization without a licence

  1. Under «Distributor» › «Licences», choose «Allocate» on the pool.
  2. In the «Allocate seats» dialog, pick the holder, the seats (1 to 1,000,000) and the end date. The console shows how many seats are free in the pool and until when.
  3. Choose «Save licence». «The licence is usable at once; its signed record follows within minutes.»

Amend or renew

  1. On the allocation, choose «Amend». «Amend the licence» opens.
  2. Change the seats or the end date. Seats cannot go below what is in use and allocated.
  3. Save. A renewal (a later end date) automatically ends the customer's warning, grace and read-only mode.

Revoke

  1. On the allocation, choose «Revoke». «Revoke the licence» opens.
  2. Type the requested text to confirm.
  3. The organization loses its seats, and every allocation made from that licence is revoked with it.

Revocation cannot be undone: afterwards, only a new allocation. Without a licence, the organization becomes read-only (no new activations or allocations).
